Many cyclists sooner or later find that riding on increasingly busy roads has become a strain and an added stress, instead of a relaxing way to unwind after a busy day. Training too, of course, but training doesn’t have to mean just focusing on speed. Training is first and foremost the effort a cyclist puts in, to get better and to relax the mind and channel stress through physical exertion.
Gravel biking has emerged and proven to be an excellent compromise, allowing the keen cyclist to visit less frequented (and often more interesting routes) while still offering the joy of covering distances quickly.
