On the border between Gorenjska, Central Slovenia, and Primorska, on the slopes of the 1291 m high Črni vrh, lies the Cerkno ski resort. You can reach the ski resort, which is only 51 km away from Ljubljana, via the road leading directly to the ski resort.
Runs and infrastructure
Cerkno Ski Center is considered a family ski resort with the most modern, safest and fastest ski facilities in Slovenia. To avoid long queues, it is equipped with two 6-seater chairlifts.
Our guests can enjoy more than 100 ski days on the 18 km of ski slopes overlooking Mt. Triglav. As many as 100 snow machines and snow cannons ensure the production of technical snow and thus excellent skiing conditions.
The ski slopes are suitable for skiers of all categories and difficulties, and there are also a ski school, children’s snow playground and ski kindergarten available.
