A WINTER FAIRY TALE
The white idyll below Mangart will certainly not leave you indifferent. In a sunny position, you’ll find the Encijan ski slope, which is especially popular with families and beginners, as it’s suitable for taking your first steps on the snow, right up to the right turns. Several cross-country skiing trails are in the immediate vicinity, so you can complement your day in the snow with a cross-country skiing.
The main cross-country circuit (the Rut trail) runs along the meadow between Spodnje and Gornje Log, and in suitable snow conditions the trails extend to the branch into the valley of the Možnice (Za Logom trail) and onto the meadow towards the valley of the Loška Koritnica (Za Logom trail). All the trails are easy and suitable for both classic and skating techniques.
