A five-kilometer long cross-country ski piste runs through the forests of Jelovice opposite the ski resort, on which surfaces are arranged for the sliding technique of running.
There are three circuits of varying difficulty on the entire track, which connect to each other. The ski piste for classical technique is arranged only during various events and competitions. The length of the prepared pistes depends on the amount of natural snow, as there is no organized artificial snow on the cross-country course.
A cross-country pistes run through the beautiful surrounding forests, on which there are areas for free technique running (exceptionally also for classic). Part of the pistes (2 km) was renovated and expanded during the transmission line’s expulsion. These pistes are also suitable for more demanding cross-country skiers. Competitions for ranked runners can also be held on them. Equipment for classic cross-country skiing, as well as other ski equipment, can be rented at the Pension Lajnar.
