Mountain center Rogla

At Rogla this summer, they are paying the most attention to the content and quality of the offer. They mainly focus on upgrading the experience offer for families, programs based on healthy, green and active experiences, and the creation of culinary stories that combine the rich culinary tradition of places with modern trends in healthy eating. Here, the emphasis is on the inclusion of fresh, locally grown foods and nutritional products.

Active and green experiences focus on the exclusive connection of the thermal spa Terme Zreče and the mid-mountain center Rogla. Guests can spend their free time in the fresh and healing mountain air, where the temperature is even 8 to 12 °C lower than in the valley.

Special emphasis is placed on hiking and cycling. They provide hiking and cycling accommodation according to the demanding cycling and hiking standards of the Slovenia Outdoor Association. Hotels Rogla*** Superior in Rogla and Vital**** in Terme Zreče received a rating of 3 hikers and 3 cyclists, which represents the highest hiking and cycling specialization in Slovenia.

This summer and autumn, they will invest a lot of effort, work and energy in the project  Park Mašinžaga – 1st phase on Rogla. For this project, they received 8 million euros in grants from the Public Call for Investments in the high-quality and sustainable transformation of Slovenian tourism to strengthen its resilience. The total value of the project will amount to 11.351 million euros. The project is expected to be completed by November 10, 2023.

The central place in Mašinžaga Park will be dedicated to the switchable 6-seater Mašinžaga with heated seats and protective cabins. This will enable a quick and comfortable experience for skiers and will also serve to transport hikers, cyclists and bicycles. It will be especially attractive to those who will be going down the Flying Slide and the mountain tricycle track or facing the Forest Adventure Challenge.

At the same time, two new family tracks will be arranged in Bike Park Rogla, intended for all family members, who will be able to test themselves on original elements adapted to families.
