Kope Ski Center
The ski centre is located at elevations from 1010 m to 1536 m in the far western, highest part of the Pohorje Hills, above the town of Slovenj Gradec. Surrounded by lush forests, it offers beautiful views of the surrounding area and is easily accessible by car.

In Kope, skiers with various skill levels can enjoy 8 km of ski slopes, connected by six ski lifts and two four-person chairlifts. There are 3.1 km of easy slopes, 3.8 km of medium-difficulty slopes, and 1.6 km of difficult slopes. In addition to natural snow, artificial snow is also available. The terrain on the slopes is dynamic, suitable for those learning to ski as well as for experienced skiers. Here, you will also find a new four-seater ski lifts on the Kopnik and Peharnik slopes and a new modern lift on the Velika Kopa slope.
In addition to the ski slopes, the Kope Ski Centre also has a trail for cross-country skiing, a ski walking trail and a sledging hill.
Built in 2023, Grmovškov dom is a new accommodation facility in the Kope ski resort. This modern facility is located just 50 meters from the first ski lift, making it an ideal base for those who want to make the most of their time on the slopes. The rooms at Grmovškov dom are modernly furnished and offer all the comfort modern skiers need. They can accommodate up to 150 guests in rooms with private bathrooms, underfloor heating, LCD TVs and balconies, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay. On the first floor of Grmovškov dom, in addition to the accommodation, there is also the popular Holcer pub, where visitors can enjoy good music, while the Kope restaurant offers delicious homemade dishes prepared according to our grandmothers’ recipes.
