    The Krvavec ski centre is located in the Kamnik and Savinja Alps in the heart of Slovenia, at an elevation from 1480 to 1971 metres.

     

    Krvavec is just 25 km from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, and it’s also the closest ski centre to an international airport in Europe (the Jože Pučnik Airport is 8 km away).

     

    The ski centre can be accessed in a gondola or by car.

    This ski centre with a stunning view of the Ljubljana Basin provides excellent opportunities to go skiing in natural and compact snow. It offers 30 km of ski slopes with various levels of difficulty and 100 ski days per year are guaranteed.

     

    The slopes are dynamic, suitable for recreational and professional skiers as well as for beginners. The ski centre is family-friendly, there’s a ski school, a children’s ski course, and a kindergarten.

    What to do

    Krvavec is a great starting point for ski touring, for which suitable equipment must be used and weather conditions and recommendations for safe ski touring must be considered.

Well-maintained hiking trails will take you to the majestic Mt Zvoh, the blooming Kriška Planino Alpine pasture, and the idyllic Dolga Njiva pasture. Bike Park Krvavec has diverse trails that offer a rich adrenaline-filled experience for all. There are many diverse family-friendly things to explore. Children will particularly enjoy the Shepherd Dwarf Trail, which reveals the mysteries of the herdsmen’s mountain pasture and is a true family adventure!

    Numerous hotels and boarding houses in the valley, at the foot of the ski centre, also provide a pleasant atmosphere and good food and accommodation.
