It will offer over 30 organized tours (hiking and cycling), together with professional guidance, an educational program, Posavina cuisine, local stories and a wide selection of accommodation.

The Posavje Hiking Festival is intended for hikers and cyclists of all generations. Organized tours are intended for learning, getting to know the natural and cultural heritage, sports activities and enjoying the relaxed walks in nature.

Participants can choose from a wide range of accommodation – hotels, youth hostels and accommodation in the countryside. But offcourse, those interested can only take part in individual day hikes, such as the one-day trip to Posavje.

Within the framework of the festival, the connection between various societies, organizations and other providers is strengthened, which recognized the hiking and cycling tourism product in the Hiking Festival, which places Posavje alongside other Slovenian regions. In the preparation of the festival, all Posavje municipalities participated with various actors in the field of tourism, i.e. institutes, associations and individuals.

The purpose of the festival is to present the Posavje region as an attractive tourist destination for outdoor activities.
