This hike pays tribute to Primož Trubar, the father of Slovenian literature. The route runs from the Turjak bus stop (starting at 9:00 a.m.) to the Trubar Homestead and the church in Škocjan—where Trubar was baptized – with commentary provided along the way, and concludes at Gradež at the main event: the Dried Fruit Festival. The hike is suitable for all ages and takes three to four hours.
