Posavje Hiking Festival 2026 offers 21 hikes along the region’s scenic trails. From 20 September to 29 November, visitors can look forward to vineyards, forests, breathtaking views, local stories and enjoyable gatherings.
When Posavje is dressed in warm autumn colours, the vineyards are filled with the fragrance of ripe grapes and nature offers its finest gifts, it is time for the Posavje Hiking Festival. Throughout October and November, visitors are invited to join a diverse programme of guided hikes combining active leisure, authentic experiences in nature, and Posavje’s rich cultural and winegrowing heritage.
The hikes are organised by numerous tourism, winegrowing and other local associations from across the Posavje region. The trails wind through picturesque vineyards, forests and rolling hills, offering opportunities along the way to discover local stories, customs and cuisine—and to meet the region’s hospitable people.
The autumn festival is therefore more than an invitation to get active: it is an opportunity to experience Posavje with all the senses.
